APM 2009 - Academic Publishing in the Mediterranean Region: National Contexts and International Experiences

Stakeholders in the area of academic publishing in Mediterranean countries are faced with unique challenges: the languages, the predominance of content in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) and the traditional prevalence of monograph publishing. This conference, in the tradition of the APE Conferences*, seeks to foster open dialogue, particularly the exchange of experiences and ideas, between publishers, universities and libraries in the Mediterranean countries addressing these and other important themes of common interest. The conference language is English.
